Starting out as an industrial factory, this building was reconfigured into several urban artist lofts situated in Oakland's thriving Jack London Waterfront district.

 

The original unit began as a spartan and utilitarian live work space with little consideration for comfort. This renovation transformed the space into a tasteful and refined modern home that is integral to the building's industrial character. The core focus was around three main spaces, the kitchen, a living / media room, and the master bathroom. Each of these spaces is designed to maintain a quality of openness and flexibility throughout the home.
